Trail Oasi Zegna 2025

The 14th edition of the Trail Oasi Zegna wrapped up on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, with record-breaking numbers and top-level performances along the breathtaking trails of the Oasi Zegna. The event exceeded all expectations, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated and prestigious races on the national trail running calendar.

First and foremost, the numbers speak for themselves: 823 total participants spread across the three race distances – 105 athletes in the 70 km, 341 in the 35 km, and 377 in the 15 km – representing 11 countries (including Belgium, China, Ecuador, France, Great Britain, Morocco, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, and of course, Italy) and 9 Italian regions. An international success that underscores the exponential growth of this event in the heart of the Biellese Alps.

Adding to the prestige of this edition was the inclusion of the FIDAL Italian National Championship (Absolute and Master categories) for Short Trail Running over the intermediate 35 km distance (1,800 meters elevation gain/loss). The undisputed star was Daniel Pattis (LcBozen Raffeisen), who claimed victory with an impressive time of 2h45’25”. Among the women, the new Italian champion is Alice Gaggi (La Recastello Radici Group), who clocked in at 3h26’45”, confirming her national-level excellence.

The course, both captivating and technically challenging, offered unforgettable emotions with stunning segments through the Conca dei Rododendri and along the scenic ridgelines surrounding Bielmonte, made even more beautiful by a perfect sunny day.

The organizing team of Trail Running Valsessera expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the event, receiving unanimous praise from athletes and their companions for the meticulous planning, signage, refreshment stations, and warm hospitality. It was an event that fully embodied the spirit of Oasi Zegna: sport, nature, and hospitality in perfect harmony.

The date is already set for next year, with the goal and ambition to make the 15th edition of TOZ even more exciting and well-attended.
