The ski season kicked off with the women’s national alpine skiing team.

Bielmonte, December 21, 2024 – The wait is over: on Saturday, December 21, the ski lifts at Bielmonte officially open, marking the start of the second season for the Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center.

Adding excitement to the first weekend on the slopes is the presence of athletes from the Italian Women’s Alpine Skiing National Team: Asja Zenere, Elisa Platino, Ilaria Ghisalberti, Giorgia Collomb, Emilia Mondinelli, and Marta Bassino will arrive in Bielmonte for an intensive training session, to be joined by the rest of the team after the St. Moritz World Cup stage.

This marks the first presence of national teams this year, thanks to the agreement with the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI). The innovative ski center has officially become the training headquarters for the national teams for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 competitive seasons.

Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center boasts five FIS-certified slopes, including three dedicated to Slalom with a 27% incline and two for Giant Slalom with a 29% incline. It also offers additional services tailored to athletes and professionals, such as artificial snowmaking, exclusive access to a gym and wellness center for complementary training activities, and personalized performance monitoring programs.

The center reaffirms its commitment to excellence in sports while remaining a perfect destination for enthusiasts and families. To make the experience even more convenient for skiers and visitors, a new equipment rental service debuts this year, designed to meet every need.

Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center benefits from the valuable collaboration of sponsors Intesa San Paolo, Centro Commerciale San Martino, Nordica, Marcolin, and Lauretana.
